Littlehampton Primary School Governing Council

Our Governing Council, elected from our parents and school staff, is the team that keeps our school continually improving and meeting the needs of our students and community. The council works together with the Principal to develop policy, school strategy and ways to enhance student learning and wellbeing.

How to become a member of the Governing Council

Joining the Governing Council can be extremely rewarding and gives you the opportunity to have a direct say in your family school.

Membership is open to all parents. Governing Council meetings are held twice a term and elections take place at the AGM in February each year. To nominate yourself for a position, contact our Principal, Barb Jenkins , Michelle Calderwood (PA to Principal) or the Governing Council Chairperson Johan van der Merwe. Alternatively you can download and complete the Nomination Form.
